By entering the 2024 La Marzocco Competition (“Competition”), you agree to the following terms and conditions:
Who is eligible to enter
1. Subject to clauses 2 and 3, entry is open to residents of New South Wales aged 16 and over only.
2. Employees of Bourke Street Bakery Pty Ltd (“Promoter”) and their immediate family members are not eligible to win the prize. An ‘immediate family member’ includes a spouse, de facto spouse, parent, natural or adopted child or sibling.
3. Online customers who receive a ‘friends and family’ discount are not eligible to win the prize.
The Prize
4. The prize package (“Prize”) consists of the following:
a. La Marzocco Linea Micra espresso machine (value: $7,920 including GST), colour chosen by the competition winners from colours in stock in January 2025;
b. a year’s supply of Sunny Coffee BDR Espresso (1kg once a month for 12 months);
c. 24 x 1 litre cartons of The Alternate Dairy Co. Oat milk;
d. installation of your espresso machine (in Metro Sydney ONLY); and
e. one hour tutorial of how to use the machine by Sunny Coffee in person in Metro Sydney.
5. Please note the prize does not include a Grinder.
6. There will only be one (1) Prize winner.
How to enter the Competition
7. The official competition period commences at 12am (AEST) on Thursday 3 October 2024 and finishes at 12am (AEST) Monday 23 December 2024 (“Competition Period”).
8. To enter the Competition, you must during the Competition Period:
a. purchase any Sunny Coffee 250g or 1kg bag of beans from any Bourke Street Bakery store or via the Bourke Street website (“Transaction”);
b. scan the QSR Code or go to the website (https://www.bourkestreetbakery.com.au/) and register your full name, address (including postcode), a valid email address, telephone number and any other required information; and
c. upload a copy or photograph of your receipt showing proof of purchase.
9. Entries must be received by 12am (AEST) Sunday 22 December 2024.
10. Entrants must provide accurate and complete information when submitting entries, or the entry will be deemed invalid.
11. Any photographs of receipts provided with an entry that are illegible or unclear such that they cannot be verified as a genuine receipt will cause an entry to be deemed invalid.
12. Each Transaction permits one entry to the Competition only. There is no limit to the number of entries a person may submit arising from separate Transactions during the Competition Period.
13. Any entry that contains content that the Promoter, in its sole discretion, considers to be offensive or inappropriate in any way or that the Promoter considers, in its sole discretion, to infringe any intellectual property rights or other rights of any person, corporation or entity, will be considered ineligible. The decision to accept or reject an entry is at the Promoter’s sole discretion and no correspondence regarding the Promoter’s decision will be entered into.
How the prize winner will be announced
14. The Prize winner will be randomly selected by a Bourke Street Bakery using the randomisation website random.org at 10am (AEST) Monday 23 December 2024 and will take place at the Bourke Street Bakery Head Office premises 18 Anderson St, Banksmeadow, New South Wales.
15. The Prize winner will be announced on Tuesday 24 December 2023.
16. The Prize winner will be notified by mobile and email within 7 days of the draw.
17. The last name, first initial and postcode of the winner (except for any winner who has requested their details not to be published) will be published on the Bourke Street website within 10 days of the draw.
18. The winner has until 5pm (AEST) on 23 January 2025 to claim to claim the Prize, otherwise an unclaimed Prize draw will commence.
19. The unclaimed Prize winner will be randomly selected by the Promoter using the randomisation website random.org on 24 January 2025 at the Bourke Street Bakery Head Office premises 18 Anderson St, Banksmeadow, New South Wales.
20. The Prize is not redeemable for cash or other prizes.
21. It is a condition of accepting the Prize that the prize winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
Privacy
22. Your privacy is important to us. The Promoter collects personal information for the purposes of sending you newsletters, processing and administering entries to the competition and identifying and notifying the Prize winner.
23. Your information will not be passed onto any Third Parties.
24. All entrants to the Competition agree to receive newsletters from the Promoter and can unsubscribe from these newsletters at any time.

No liability
26. In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, pandemic, epidemic, government restraint, or act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel, modify or suspend the competition. If, due to circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter is unable to provide the stated prize, the Promoter reserves the right to award a substitute prize.
27. The Promoter and its related entities will not take any responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit, or late, lost, or misdirected mail.
28. The Promoter does not take any responsibility for any tax consequences or imposts that arise from the Prize. The Prize winner is advised that tax implications may arise from their winning the Prize and they should seek independent financial advice prior to acceptance of the Prize.
29. The Promoter and the Prize suppliers are not responsible for any costs associated with Prize collection.
30. The Promoter is not responsible for any data or other information related to this Competition that may be lost or damaged as a result of any computer software or hardware malfunction.
31. The Promoter and its related entities will not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss (including but not limited to consequential loss) or claim that may occur:
a. in the participation in any Prize;
b. because of late, lost or misdirected mail;
c. in relation to failure of an entry to be received by the Promoter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion; and
d. arising from or related to any problem or technical malfunction of any computer equipment, software, internet connection, any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer software related to or resulting from participation in this Competition.
32. If for any reason the Competition is not capable of running as planned, due to causes including but not limited to tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, infection by computer virus or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition, subject to state government legislation.
33. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of, entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available.
Variation
34. Subject to relevant legislation and regulations, the Promoter reserves the right to reasonably amend these terms and conditions, which will be published on the Promoter’s website.
Governing law
35. The Competition and these Terms of entry will be governed by the law of the State of NSW in which the Promoter ordinarily resides. Entrants accept the non-exclusive jurisdiction of courts and tribunals of that State in connection with disputes concerning the Competition.
