About
Established in 2009, the Marrickville store opened its doors as our fourth bakery at a time when the Alexandria location began to reach its capacity limits. This necessitated a strategic division of production: pastries were allocated to Marrickville, while bread production remained concentrated in Alexandria.
Marrickville, predominantly an industrial area at the time, presented an ideal backdrop for our new adventure. This location allowed us to expand our operations significantly, where David took the helm at Marrickville. Notably, it was one of the first cafes to open in what was then a primarily industrial zone, setting a trend for transformation in the area.
