Method
Thinly slice the smoked salmon at a slight angle for an elegant presentation. Set aside.
Cut the loaf into 2-3cm thick slices, ensuring each piece is sturdy enough to hold the toppings.
Spread a generous layer of sour cream evenly over each slice of bread. Arrange the smoked salmon slices neatly on top.
Sprinkle freshly chopped chives over the assembled pieces for added flavour and a pop of colour.
